A hand processed 16 mm film that mixes live action and various animation techniques that were composited together on an optical printer. The story is built from various tales of the boxing world in old South Philadelphia as remembered by my Great Uncle. Composer Lowell Pickett reconstructed the audio sessions and created a soundscape to accompany the visuals on this journey into a 20th century American memory. Until recently, I preferred the film shown only in it’s original 16mm format. Both 16mm and low compression 4k versions are available upon request. Please contact mcmikeyadam@gmail.com for prints.
